Powerpoint page numbers not updating
In the Header and Footer dialog box, check the Slide Number check box, and click Apply to All.This should put slide numbers on every slide, but in a sample presentation that I used, the slide number appeared on only one slide! In this case, the slide’s master has a dark background, but I had changed the background for the individual slide.(Right-click the background and choose Format Background.) This result illustrates why changing the background of an individual slide can cause unexpected problems.Masters let you format the title, background, color, date, time, and slide number. The controls formatting only for the title slide(s).To create a slide master or title master, refer to Working with a Slide Master.I know this can be perfomed in Captivate, but am stumped with Storyline.
By using the master slides, you can add consistency to a presentation, making it easier to follow and understand.Dealing with the table/figure Track Changes by accepting/rejecting them usually sorts this out. After accepting/rejecting the change, update the LOT/LOF and all should be well again. I’m not sure what causes this, but turning off Track Changes and updating the TOC/LOT/LOF should fix it.that you’ve added to the document aren’t appearing in the TOC/LOT/LOF, or why your changes or deletions aren’t reflected in the TOC/LOT/LOF.Typically, the reason is that you’ve forgotten to update the TOC/LOT/LOF – these lists don’t update automatically.
